Last week, the US Senate passed a non-binding resolution calling on the Government of Ethiopia, the Tigray People's Liberation Front, and other parties of the conflict Tigray Region of Ethiopia to stop the war, protect human rights, allow unfettered humanitarian access, and cooperate with independent investigations.[2] This is not the first time that a US congress passed similar non-binding resolutions.
